Where are you located?Right now, we are virtual for California residents only (soon Arizona, Texas, and Florida), but stay tuned! We will soon be offering in-person services in Rancho Santa Margarita, California!

Are your recommendations safe?Absolutely! Our protocols incorporate nutraceuticals (such as vitamins) and botanicals (herbals) carefully selected to target the root cause of your health challenges. We also have safe protocols for children, pregnancy, and breastfeeding mothers.

Will I have to swallow a lot of pills?We always try to minimize the amount of supplements and most are short term, but there are some powder and liquid options if needed. We'll also give you food recommendations to help with your specific nutrient depletion.

Does insurance pay for functional medicine?Unfortunately, most insurance companies do not cover functional medicine services. However, we do accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). And if you have PPO insurance, you can use your insurance for blood work, but please note that advanced specialty tests are typically not covered by insurance.

Do you provide support / accountability?YES! While our functional medicine protocols are conducted virtually with Heather Sanchez, a board-certified family nurse practitioner and certified functional medicine practitioner, we ensure ongoing support and accountability every step of the way. We offer HIPAA-compliant messaging during office hours and the options of working with a health coach to help you establish healthy habits or group coaching on the "Healing Naturally" App.
